here's all i bought this month!
i kid you not. as soon as i saw the announcing post on twitter i dmed rhyktz saying i wanna buy the album when the time of the convention arrived and i was literally setting up 300 thousand alarms on june 14, not just because of the album but also cuz i have a final exam coming up in june 14 and it was math (and im pretty good at math btw) and i sent 550 jpy (500 jpy + paypal tax (evidence im good at math XD) ) and i finally got it!!
the first track was this UK Hardcore-ish and mainly Happy Hardcore, only the beginning was it giving UK Hardcore but throughout the whole song its Happy Hardcore the second track was "subground"??? and i know that this is not any derivative of hardcore because i know them by heart so i did a quick google search and it was actually a derivative of hard dance :P uhm anyways so- this is my first time hearing this kind of new-niche genre and i gotta say it did have a similarity to hard dance. house and UK Hardcore all combined the third track was this really calm hardtek and the fourth one is futurecore. at first i thought it was gonna be jams and piano but in the middle of the song OH HOLY SHIT THIS SLAPSSSS favorite thing about this album that the music is really long i mean REALLY long 22 minutes and 38 seconds into 4 tracks. what??? and the jacket art is really good especially the bullets going on also the artist is also the arranger of the fourth track. so shout out to this awesome dude X:Cage2beast
i need to calm the fuck down. because since when did gangigameru made orchestral music?? ok i get it sometimes gangigameru posts these piano-only arrangement but i wasnt expecting an orchestral arrangement also it sounded really similar to sound and vision's orchestral arranges and i cant really remember the last time i've heard esotoria arrange it's almost niche but i remember this nu-style gabber arrange its called "It is I" i remember it was something then esotoria. and since when did gangigameru sell DL versions of his CDs??? and also i think this is the first time i've ever purchased from gangigameru/gengakudan this YEAR. 6 whole fucking month and i think i know why. HE COLLABED WITH DR.LUCY!!! it was so worth waiting also many of the songs in this album were either found in his past albums or from his nicovideo's account like Cross X Chaos which was a fucking banger and i still to this day dont know why he isn't popular and is a steal its almost an all-best album. tell me why but the collab with Dr.Lucy, Dr.Lucy's part sounds like AI maybe its just the voice sampling thats AI but idkkk... also track 5 was really good and weird at the same time, it says that its digital hardcore but the only hardcore element i could hear is the drums and there are screamo. this is so new (i just searched digital hardcore up and found out its hardcore fused with hardcore punk. i just thought it was this modern version of hardcore so ignore everything i said LOLLL) plus i really like the sudden quiet part of the song its like a walkie talkie being cut off, and the 9th track was Microwave Oven of Meiji 17 piep zaag edit and the thing is in the XFD it says Microwave Oven of Meiji 17 (without the piep zaag edit) which really differs because the version of piep zaag edit is really loud and the other one is not. fun fact Microwave Oven of Meiji 17 piep zaag edit was made for the dj party "東方全破會〜Winter Battlefield〜" and gangi said that whoever wants the piep zaag edit you could just dm him and obviously i was like PROBABLY the first one to ask him and post it onto my youtube channel (which is now deleted) and i have 0 knowledge if this version is different than the piep zaag edit (made for the DJ event) or not. but from what i could remember of is. yes probably just a minor change
